My favorite seafood in the entire world for all time is abalone, which I have not tasted in probably 30 years...it is so rare and so expensive..but I had a friend whose son scuba-dived for some..he removed it from the shell and she pounded it (to tenderize) and cooked it very simply in butter..she lived at the beach..we ate our freshly-caught- and- prepared abalone out on the deck, sipping champagne, as the sun was setting in Malibu! It was totally awesome! My second favorte is Coconut Shrimp as served at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Oahu at the Mai Tai Bar on Waikiki! :) I know..expensive tastes! :)

Trout but only if I catch it. I was on a tour in New Zealnd and two of us caught about 30 lbs of wild trout. The next morning, the hotel cooked it up for me and another guy that fished with me. We shared it with everybody (about 30 people)on the tour. They grilled, poached, fried and broiled it. Best fish I've had. I also just like catching one at home too, bringing it back a cooking it up.
