I am in the same situation where my boyfriend is a virgin and i definitely have the upper hand on experience levels. However i just explained to him that i wouldn't push him and he could move at his own pace. And i told him that he should do what makes him comfortable... not what he thinks i want.
For that comment and constant reassurance hes respected me and has been gradually opening up to me.... it hasn't taken him long but he feels like hes getting to a place where he wants to be with me physically.
Granted it may take your man more time but with reassurance, and making sure he understands that you don't want to force him into anything, you'll end up with one hell of a relationship

Be very patient with him. NEVER be pushy! Go slow. Mark my word, it gets better and better over time. There is all kinds of new tricks you two will learn.
