I was in an interracial relationship and I lived about 50 miles from my racist parents. But I could have lived next door and it wouldn't have mattered because they disowned me for it. We didn't talk for nearly two years.

NO! I will live where i want to. If my parents don't agree then that is their problem, i don't have to go to their house and they don't have to go to mine. Personally, I don't feel that anyone should feel so uncomfortable that they feel they need to run away.
