What makes you decide that you want to send a friend request to someone?

When the person has good opinions or when I get along with them.

If we've commented a bit and it seems we have things in common or enjoy chatting. If someone is new and we had good comments between us I extend my hand in friendship.

Depends on our chemistry. Like you, I had to send you one. I couldn't let you get away.

if there answers make me laugh. If they have good opinions an i feel that we understand each other somehow ill add you.

I usually only send a friend's request after I have had a conversation with the person via answers and, preferably, a comment thread. Sometimes I send one if I have just noticed someone for awhile and have been impressed with them but never got around to sending one.

If we've encountered each other in a lot of threads, had some good conversation, share similar opinions and similar sense of humor, then I will usually send a friend request.

The only people I've sent friend requests to on here are people I knew before they joined AB.

after I have found out what makes them tick ..through Q&A's and threads, their views...likes and dislikes and their sense of humour and of course the advice and helpfulness they show and give to other ABers

I judge them on the quality of three things: 1. Questions 2. Answers. 3. Comments. There is nothing else in the AB Universe. Everything else is irrelevant.
