Nope! Is it like Go Fish? J/K:P
-
No, I bought a deck once and tried it but I never got it down...
-
I have to look them up in the book as I go, and I've had people flip out at me for it-- obviously I can't read them if I have to look it up, I have to memorise the cards or be divinely inspired, eh? I only ever do it for myself, though.

i have written about this before.somethings are true wether you believe it or not.as per tarot cards,i don't know how to read them.the reason i never learnt to read them is ,they are not readable. people who are desperate are the ones going for a read.funny but true, your readings are always very comforting,so you never bother with its cost.it is very addictive and it can cost you all your savings, family and friends. BACK-OFF,DON'T GET HOOKED ON IT.

Yes I read Tarot cards, no it is not always good news,I do not charge for it and there are times when they will not read for someone.
-
Yes, I read cards for friends and for myself.
-
I don't read tarot but I read something similar call oracle cards. Now that I have a set that I really like I have a lot of fun with them. I try to do a general reading every day or so and occasionally do readings for friends/family.
-
I can Bull-Shit as well as anyone else, but I have never done it with cards on a table.
-
Yes. The way I do it might not be the way others do, but I get excellent insights. I have only been reading for a couple years. I don't tell the future as much as I let people know what to be aware of so they can take control of their own future and make their own decisions. A reading, by any other definition, such as a meter reading, looks at the past and present. Estimates can be made as to the future, but any thoughts I get about what may happen is only one possibility. I firmly believe we make our own luck and use our free will to decide. If you have any questions, I might be able to help.

As well as any tarot card reader. Unless they are good at cold reading someone, which I am not. In other words, not at all.
-
I'm learning how to read them for myself, but I wouldn't want to read them for someone else.
-
Yes, but I haven't done it in a while.
-
There's a lot of literature about that. But you don't need cards to read the future. Even a coinflip will help you if you know how to use it.
-
Yes, I know how to read them and use them as a personal meditation and divinatory tool. No, I don't like reading for other people, although I have on occasion. Most people do not understand divination, its purpose, its limitations, or the amount of personal choice and responsibility that enters into the practice. They want to "know the future" or their "fortune." They want to be *told,* not *guided* toward their own responsible choices.
-
I wasn't joking when I came up with the coinflip. This is (in short) what Peter Lemans wrote about it: The coin made it very clear to you what would be the right choice even if it showed what you would call its wrong side. And that, my friend, is exactly what makes the flip of a coin such a powerful tool. The principle follows the unwritten rules of the code. Ask yourself a question, only limited to two possible outcomes, then concentrate on the question and toss the coin. I can guarantee you that at the very moment you see the result, you will know what choice to make. Tarot cards will help, but there is much more you can use. That's all I wanted to say.

No I don't know. And even I don't believe them.

I have read once about the difference between "fortune telling" and "divination". Most people wanted the former, to be told their "fortunes". But what is more divinely inspired is the latter, that of being given the guidance on matters, on the forces to look for in a situation. And how to use the knowledge of those forces to stir through to my destination. For a long time, I have been doing tarot readings for myself only. My objective is to build a solid base, to become that expression itself of the tarot reading I made. As for those who needed my help, I don't do the reading in front of them, or even told them that I'd be doing a tarot reading for them. I would do counseling, listening to their issues when I'm with them. And once I'm alone, I further deepen my understanding of their situation by consulting the cards. Then, when I have the time, I would go back to them to discuss further and even deeper into their issues than I ever did. Many things are uncovered. I would call this Tarot Counselling. My role then in this kind of counselling is to be the guide. The tarot becomes in this kind of situation a living divination through my own role as a counselor.
