Most- about 75% are returned within 24 hours but there are still plenty getting through. Does not help to have Bush, who makes money on mexican illegals, being president.

No enforcement and no will by Dems who only see more future dems and republicans who see cheap labor and profit. No focus or clout is with the general consensus that immigration laws exist to protect the country. ICE is understaffed and have release illegal folks with 5 DUIs because they can "only take the worst cases". There's a law fining employers $10,000 per occurrence for hiring illegals passed in the 1960s. That ain't happening; no enforcement. Our President is meeting with Canada and Mexico to discuss NO borders in North America and have already begun plans to build a highway which will run through middle america. Corporations are using influence to continue making profits hand over fist shortchanging on employment wages, work comp, social security contributions, labor laws, safety laws. Mexican elite continue to make $$ by importing their poorest, least educated and sickest to us. Shall I continue?

Primarily because we lack the resources to adequately enforce the laws.

Its because Mexico agreed to let some of Americas biggest businesses move to Mexico for the cheap labor. in return, i assume the orders were given to just let the illegals invade America. and, its happening. Its all about the money. Anyone watching to see how many hospitals are closing because the Federal Government makes them give free medical care to certain individuals, who have no insurance? Its only just begun.

Because further alienating the largest minority group in the nation would be foolish. Because the infrastructure of every town and city in the country would be completely destroyed, because we would all be far worse off and the American economy would completely collapse.
