  • Direct Deposit, I have no choice as my company mandates it. I don't complain though, it's deposited a day before the official "pay day".
  • I get a check and don'y have any plans to change that anytime soon.
  • Where I work, we have to direct deposit...So, we have no choice...
  • Direct deposit. That system is normal throughout Europe.
  • I have had direct deposit for the past 10 years. It's one of the best time-savers I can think of; cashing my pay check is just one less chore I need to worry about! :)
  • Well, I guess it's direct deposit right now. I get paid through paypal and then transfer the money to my bank account.
  • I have had direct deposit for years. Works fine for me. No reason to change.
  • My husband's pay check is mailed. Last week the Post Office LOST it (GRRRRRRRR)and the company will not stop payment and reissue it for 10 days. Monday I am going to set up direct deposit for all future paychecks. Since a couple of my bills are going to be late because of this, looks like the freakin' post office should pay the late fees. Yeah..fat chance!
  • I have direct deposit & have had it for years now. It is great for me cause the credit union I bank at is not near to my house. so having my paycheck automatically put right into my account is easy for me. I can just go online to the credit union's website and check to see when it was deposit into my account.
  • Everyone gets direct deposit. I'm fine with this, because I tended to misplace my paychecks from my old job, or forget to deposit them... Once got handed two paychecks at my old job, one had fallen behind something for a month and I hadn't even realised I was missing one. And this way I don't have to look at how little I get paid unless I want to. /sigh
  • Direct deposit rules. If you play hookie you still get paid! If you get sick you still get paid. If you lose the envelope with your pay stub in it on your way home...yep, you still get paid. It's beautiful really.
  • I get an old fashioned hand written pay check every week. In fact I write it myself when I do payroll for the store. I have no plans to change it anytime soon.
  • I get a paycheck and I am just happy when it doesn't bounce.
  • We have had direct deposit for yrs, makes it nice if we leave for vac. before payday, check goes in bank and we access where we are at, I just check online to make sure all is well and we're good to go.
  • Niether. Almost everyone in Thailand, foreigners and natives alike, get paid in cash once a month. Paying by check for anything under the price of a BMW in Thailand is almost unheard of -- everything is done by cash or ATM transfer. Being paid in cash has some significant advantages for both employer and employee ;) so there's no incentive to change.
  • We have direct deposit and for the most part it works well. Every once in a while the company who does it screws up and the deposit is either late or they deliver real checks. That part is not fun.
