I have a DVD-R that we got from a videographer on vacation and I want to make a copy. However, I have a laptop that only burns in DVD+R. How can I copy a DVD-R to a DVD+R?

If your laptop can read the DVD-R then you can make a copy. The difference between DVD-R and DVD+R is in how the DVD are burnt, not in format. Both types are recorded on the disc in exactly the same format. Some set-top players can only read +Rs, but most can read both + and - without being able to tell the difference.

    Hope this helps.
