I'm FROM that country above the U.S.A. I can label all the states and name their capitals... and she can't be bothered to learn that that big thing to the north is collectively called Canada? Definitely that would have gotten a smug snicker out of me.

I saw that show once.. it made me sad and jaded. The quality of education, or the lack of parental enforcement of getting edjakatid is exposed for the world to see on that show. Perhaps that's for the best. 'Where is the Taj Mahal?' "Mexico?"
