i am a teenager mmyself and even at the best of times can be rebellious.... its in our nature. ... just love him/her.

Rebellion is part of bieng a teen, you'd have more to worry about if your child wasn't rebelling. Understanding this is the best way to deal with it so when your child does things like piercings or weird hair just say wow nice nipple ring or whatever and it will probably come out much sooner if they are not getting the negative reaction they are subconsciesly looking for.
