  • That there was no malfunction. It was staged, unimportant and vastly overblown. Her nipple was not exposed. SHe had convienetly placed a gold star pastie over it. No one wears pasties under clothing unless they are expecting to expose their breast. The media blew it up into a big frenzy for ratings, like they do anything and everything else. The anal retentives in society decided that this was a "Cause" worth fighting for and managed to screw up normal, balanced life for awhile.
  • I was appalled ;)
  • Worst thing that happened to television in decades. It gave the FCC an excuse to raise the fines to astronomical levels and censor even mild innuendo. Think about it. There are no more cutting edge shows on public television any more. The shows that people are calling cutting edge today are full of violence. It doesn't matter if it is express violence (like on prison break) or the after effect of violence (like on CSI), it is still violence. I would rather laugh at the occasional curse word or sexual innuendo than sit through an hour of "entertaining" violence. And I think a quarter million dollar fine for each station that broadcasts a single curse word is a bit extravagant.
