This is one place you can't trust friends and family. They may not want to discourage you. Go do Karaoke. If those people you don't know like it, it's good.

I've heard plenty of people think that I sound good but my style isn't one that really is likely to survive in the music world for too much longer. It isn't really a number thing. I would need to sound good to myself to really believe it

i have trust issues, so i would probably never believe someone. meh.
