The short answer is: it's an American holiday in which we celebrate our thanks to the Native Americans, specifically Squanto, whom helped us get settled into the "new land", and helped us to make it through our first winter. The longer answer, with more facts, can be found somewhere on Google.

It's a holiday where we get together with our families and give thanks to everyone and everything that adds to our lives. And it is hands down the best meal of the year.....mmmmm......Happy Turkey Day everyone!!!!
