no i hate them

alright, a lot of people seem to hate the power rangers. so my question is, Why? hate means you invest a lot of mental and emotional energy in something, why does the power rangers mean so much to you that you can hate them? for example, I HATE sports, why? it started as a simple disinterest, i couldn't care one way or the other. I played a little school yard soccer, football and basketball but it was just something to do. But it couldn't end there, sports had to get up in my face every day, replacing tv shows i liked and had waited eagerly to see, bombarding me from radio, television, newspapers and magazines. there was no place to go where someone wasn't worshiping at the golden alter of sports. on the bus, at restaurants, the groceries store, even the public library. my job even stuffed sports down my throat, I work hard and win employee of the month and what do i get? 2 tickets to a Dayton dragons baseball game. to top it all off, I needed to buy a warm winter coat and don't have a lot of money so i went to a thrift store and brought the warmest long coat there, a browns coat. ok i thought, i'll take the stupid patches and logos off and have a warm coat, but little did i realize that even striped down to just a plain russet brown coat with orange lining would still attract the sports cultists. every where i went all winter i was stopped by football nuts raving about the browns. cars honked as they drove by, people I DIDN'T KNOW talked to me about something i didn't care about. it gets better, soon i was to meet the Bengals fanatics. standing at a crosswalk waiting for the light to change one day, a car drove by and the passenger threw one of those packing tape rolls with the Serrated edge tape holder attached at me, fortunately the stupid browns coat is VERY thick. so, what has the power rangers done to get on your nerves so much?
