Yes. I was at school, in kindergarten. My mother picked us up because they closed the school... something about the President being shot. All I remember is how much I wanted to help my mother, she was crying as she drove us home.

I was expecting my first child and my so and I were getting ready to go buy a car. My neighbor came over and said turn on your TV Kennedys been shot> I was in shock.

Yes. I was a first-year teacher but I was home with a really bad infectious-stage cold. I was ironing (felt like hell but somebody had to do it) and the phone rang and it was one of my students, Marc, who said, "Mrs. G, the president's been shot!"
