  • Your controller needs a service.. The buttons are probably touching the switch pad due to wear or buildup of some kind... If you arent scared of taking things apart then this can be corrected by opening your controller (carefully). Take note of how it comes apart...,this is is how it goes back together. Once it is open clean the rubber pad of the "square"(using some sort of non-static cleaner, video machine head cleaner works quite well) Do the same to the mini switch (metal bump under square) and all related parts. For the R2 button do the same, once you see the switch you'll know where to clean (normally the connection points"metal bumps") Now put it back together and id say there's a 7 out of 10 chance your controller will work perfectly again.(Mine did) Putting it back together must be done carefully making sure all boards and switches go into their correct slots and that no wires are crimped. Take your time...dont force it...dont over tighten the case screws. Its not as hard as it sounds .(Your warrenty will be void once you open the controller yourself so if it's new just take it back) Good Luck
