  • I have no fashion sense whatsoever, so I won't comment on the shoes. What is acceptable to wear in a Catholic church varies from country to country and even within cities. The best approach is to simply phone the church office and ask. I would suggest that you bring with you a wrap of some sort, even a filmy one, that matches your dress, so that you will be prepared in case anyone objects.
  • I think the silver shoes would be fine - the only real no-go areas for weddings colour-wise are black and white. Shoulders wise I'd play safe and take a wrap or a pretty shrug-style cardigan/ jacket to cover you above the elbows, you can always remove it for the reception afterwards.
