You said cat twice. It varies between cat and kitty.
-
Depends on the situation. Kitty is a cute term that I use for my cat. Cat is formal. Kitten is a baby cat.
-
I say Kitty
-
Usually cat but sometimes I go with cat.
-
Uh HEM , Putter TAT
-
Cat to describe the species in formal conversation, or kitten if it's a baby. Kitty is more like an affectionate nickname and most often applies when I am speaking to the animal, rather than to another human about the animal.

Cat...or cat? I dunno, a tie between those two Now my own cat Madmartigan I call "vato del gato" cuz he's a little mexican gangster. I realize that's probably gibberish in spanish but I like it

I use them all but I say kitty when I talk to cats because it is cuter sounding.

Kitten for me refers to young cats, and kitty is usually when I'm speaking in a cute, affectionate way (ie: with little children)
-
None of the above. I call my cat "KYDY" that's her name.

All but mostly kitty, like in Monsters, Inc..."KITTY!!!"

All of them
-
Cat, kitty, kitten, and kitty cat.
-
I say all of the above
-
I call a cat a cat. Actually, I rather use "Katze" (German) or "chat" (French). If I see a cat on the street and want to talk to her, I would say "minou". But I have two cats and they also have their own names.
