If you truly have a migraine then there's no easing the pain without taking your meds. Your health is more important anyways -- your family would rather have you enjoy Thanksgiving with them than be incapacitated. Looking at a computer screen isn't helpful either. Take your meds, lie down and get better.

I feel your pain. I suffer from Migraines too. I don't know what Meds you are taking, but Exederine for Migraines works wonders for me. If you can't take that, sometimes just a complete change of atmosphere will help. Try taking a walk outside especially if the air is a little cooler. Or try doing something relaxing like a hot bath. I have heard that Migraines are caused by an increase in blood in the blood vessels in your head. Try just giving yourself a good head massage and get the blood to flow through. And if all else fails grab and ice pack and go to bed. I hope you are able to get some relief. Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving.

Hon, I fear a migraine during the rush of the holiday. YOu can try Exidrene Migrain... it works some of the time, but if your migrain is full blown, the only relief you will get is from the big dog meds. Take it now. You will be amazed at the strength you find within after the painsubsides. YOu will get everythign done. The worst thing you can do is stress about it. Honestly, I don't know how you are typing and looking at a computer screen. take your meds, crawl in bed. If you have young onesand no one can watch them.... seriously, find a video. Just use survival mode.
