  • I have no idea what, specifically, you mean by Yahweh's light. If Yahweh did, indeed, create the universe, than all things have acted in Yahweh's "light" (the sun) since it was created. If you mean those who followed Yahweh's example, I can give you those (although I'd hardly call that "light"). In Genesis 19:7-8, the "good and righteous" Lot pro-offers his virgin daughters to a mob of rapists at the door. He is later saved by Yahweh as the only righteous man in the city. In Genesis 22:10, Abraham displays his willingness to murder his own son for Yahweh. This man is the patriarch of the Abrahamic religions, and exhalted in all of them. Throughout Deuteronomy, Joshua, and Judges, Moses, Joshua, Judah and other patriarchs kill and utterly destroy all the inhabitants of dozens of cities on the command of Yahweh. Sometimes they can keep the virgin girls alive for themselves (aka: rape). In 1 Samuel, Saul kills all of the men, women, and children of Nob, but in Yahweh's eyes, it doesn't quite make up for his failure to kill all of the Amalekites. David pleases Yahweh greatly and receives life-long blessings because he killed Philistines in a "great slaughter". David is appointed king and later buys his first wife with the foreskins of 200 Philistines. In 1 Kings, Solomon achieves great favor from Yahweh for carrying out a bunch of murders, including that of his brother. Then he dedicates the Temple to Yahweh by killing about 150,000 animals (oxen and sheep). In 2 Kings, the great Elijah is the favored prophet of Yahweh. He kills at least 102 men in fire. He kills a great many of the worshippers of Baal. Elisha curses children to death for calling him a bald-head, and they are ravaged by a bear. In Job, Job repeatedly praises Yahweh, even though his sons, daughters, servents (the humans listed with the property, animals, and all property are killed/destroyed all that he had and allowed Satan to put a plague of boils on him. Daniel somehow manages to keep his faith, and his favor in the sight of Yahweh, without killing anyone. Well, I'm out of energy for this answer for now. Let me know if I've missed any major names, or there are any you'd specifically like to hear about.
