Is it acceptable for a 6 year old to bathe with the father when it goes for w/end overnite contact and the father has strict conditions of behaviour placed on contact, plus a 10yard restraining order to keep apart from the mother? All conditions given by.

It is acceptable if the father and child are both comfortable with it. Although we would like to monitor and determine everything our children do (especially with ex's). It is not always possible to do so and unless the man is a known pedophile, there is little danger to bathing with the child. HOwever, soon the child will be at the age (and I mean soon) where they will no longer appreciate bathing with parents and this is when it must stop, when the child is no longer confortable.

Personally, I think it is totally unacceptable in any circumstances regardless of restrictions of behaviour or 10 yrd restraining order.

No..as an infant yes it is fine..once the child hit 3 or 4 it must stop....my daughter and I were just having this conversation (or a similar one) yesterday..a fiveor 6 year old was running around naked in the sprinkler at the park...it was hideous..a two year old is a baby..a 6 year old is a child and it is wrong
