My slim ps2 will not work i put in a game, i hit the power and it turns green. then it takes me to the thing that says browser and system config, i hit browser and all i see is a memory card the game does not show any help anyone?

I have heard that the slim PS2 are not a durable as the bigger ones. i had the same problem but we had our ps chipped with contributed to it. aparently the laser burnt out quicker. try a different game.

Have you tried cleaning the eye? The first thing you should try is to just clean it. With a swab wet with a little rubbing alcohol.

It does that to me, when it takes you to the browser screen, open the lid, but don't turn off anything. Take the game out and put it in again, and close the lid, see if this works?
