You can go to a local trailer or hitch shop and purchase an inline connector for the rear portion of you electrical harness. This will breakout the brown wire which is used for running lights. You will also have to supply a ground or also run the white wire for this purpose. Normally a single 14 guage stranded wire will work if you can find a suitable ground. You can also salvage a pair of connectors from your local auto junk yard and create your own pigtail for a power source. Be carful to properly isolate and protect all used and unused wires from shorting hazards. Cutting off wires and dipping them in fingnail polish or petroleum based paint, and wrap them up will protect these wires from corrosion.

Take your truck to the dealer in which brand camper shell you purchased and say hey, i need you to wire this and they will be more than happy to do it for you.
