For me it is alcohol. I'm 70 so when I was growing up and my parents entertained they would serve "cocktails" to their guests.. not beer or wine but mixed drinks..when I was of age that's what I did..that's what all my friends did..it was called social drinking and it did tend to loosen people up a bit at parties. If there were people taking drugs at that time I was totally unaware of it. Perhaps had I grown up in a different time marijuana would have appealed to me..but I intensely dislike cigarettes so smoking another form of cigarette doesn't make much sense to me.

Neither. I'm done with psychoactives. Weed makes you feel tired and groggy,and alcohol gives you headaches.

I'm just dandy with either...marijuana is probably better, since it doesn't make me throw up as fast as alcohol would. Regardless, both of those things lead to a mess for me, always.

Deffinently marijuana. Marijuana is safer than alcohol. Marijuana has never directly caused a death while people over dose on alcohol. Marijuana does not make you violent while alcohol does. It's just more fun. ;)

well I DO like both ...lol but now days its a little 'smoko' mainly ...been smoking and eating the stuff for over 40 years and always had a good time ...now 'grog' well don't ask and you'll get told no lies :):+

Ironically I can't come up with a valid either or. Marijuana is primarily smoked, and sometimes eaten, yet it can also be made into a nasty wine. Yet alcohol has so many things going for it. I like my absinthe.

Alcohol. If you'd asked me a few years ago, I'd have said marijuana for sure. Mary Jane used to be so sweet to me, but now she's a bitch. I just don't like smoking the way I used to. The psychedelic experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking. And alcohol can be a bitch too, but the pain she inflicts is mainly physical. Marijuana's punishment is more insidious: anxiety, paranoia, psychosis, depression, the feeling of losing my grip on reality and becoming a vegetable. Alcohol's euphoria is more reliable, and it works to make me more social whereas marijuana made me more shy, introverted, and hostile.

If it were legal (& hopefully will be in the near future)I'd have to say MJ. Granted, I haven't done much partying, but between the two I just find it more enjoyable. :D

marijuana, because too much alcohol makes you throw up but too much marijuana just makes you laugh eat and sleep

Alcohol. It makes me feel good and I'm more familiar with it. I don't know how to roll weed up.

I don't think you can compare the two really. 2 different drugs with each with different effects. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

Marijuana, since you can ingest a lot of marijuana, not die, and still function. If eaten, marijuana goes from a health hazard to healthy fiber (good for you.) Alcohol, however, is a poison no matter how you ingest it.

both. smoking just weed makes me tired and i never do anything but sit around. but if you get high with alcohol it's great. you get the high feeling and im usually pretty alert and know whats happening.
