  • I think it would certainly make a difference in the lives of the families that are no longer watching their children become emaciated. I don't believe it will solve world hunger alone... That would be unrealistic thinking. I do think anything that would better the life of even one person is worthwhile.
  • Have you ever heard the story about the old man who was throwing starfish back into the ocean after the tide went out? Someone came up to him and said "you'll never get them all back in, and more will wash back out with the next tide and the old man said that he was just doing his part. Its the same thing here, or at least with freerice. Freerice you don't have to give any money, so if it's fake than no biggy and if it IS real, then it isn't useless, we're just doing our part, right? Try going to freerice.com FAQ. I thought it looked real. as for thehungersite, i've never been there so I couldn't say.
  • They are not fake or useless, and have been investigated by snopes.com which checks claims and reports true or false. I urge all who see this to pass it along and visit these sites regularly: http://www.freerice.com/ http://www.thehungersite.com/
