Which city do you prefer: Los Angeles or New York? Why? (apologies if dup - I searched, honest!)

New York, definitely. LA is just like a developing city that doesn't give you as many oppurtunities. NYC is really, if you think about it, the only 'real' city. There are countless oppurtunities in NY that you just don't get in LA. Now some people might go ranting about the beautiful beaches in LA, but there are nice beaches in NY too. LA has the worst air pollution. From a commercial standpoint, amongst other important standpoints, I'll go with New York.

I'm partial to New York City, because I live here. LA really spread out, public transportation is pretty shitty, and it gets smoggy sometimes. The weather there is nicer, so I'm told. LA isn't a bad place, by any means, I just like NYC better.
