  • I'd kick the parent's ass. I got bullied enough in school when I was younger. My kid would have the green light to kick the other kid's ass too. Some people could use an old fashioned ass kicking.
  • I won't tolerate bullying...
  • I think this would turn violent very quickly if common sense didn't prevail and ears were closed to reason. MrsWitch has got a mean left hook and a very nasty right cross. Who the victim is married to would not be an issue.
  • Can you ask an easier question because I think I would end up resorting to violence.
  • Hypothetically, if it were the 'principal' scenario, and I got no positive response from the principal, I would take it the school board. I'd make phone calls, write letters and show up at the meetings to lodge a formal complaint and threaten a lawsuit against the school if action was not immediately taken to resolve the matter. If the parent was the spouse of my boss and my boss was taking the situation out on me, personally, I'd first take my complaint to my boss' boss. Failing that, I'd take it one level higher and make it known that I intended to file an formal EEOC complaint against the company if the situation was not immediately addressed. If I were a union employee, I'd also file a formal grievance with the union if I got no satisfaction. Hypothetically, I'd try to keep my head and use the system.
  • who it is or who they are married to makes no difference ...my kid would have been taught how to take out bullies just like I was and just like I still do today ...hard and fast ...never had problems with bullies once they landed flat on there backs ...funny that
  • Take no prisoners. All out free for all.
  • Wow...there's a heap of "if'n" going on here. I am a grown man that refuses to be bullied. Now, being that way, I try to teach my child that he/she shouldn't allow someone to bully them. If there was a situation where I needed the assistance of the principal but the principal was part of the problem then I would contact the school board. VGQ+++ -Buddy
  • I would like to think I would have the patients to take it to the higher up....... but if it continued and my child was being bullied in the process, I am afraid I would not have the patients and let them know exactly what it feels like to be bullied!
  • Yiikes! I would loudly bring it up in any parent teacher meeting I could. I would bring down the house, trust me. The worst that will happen is you will have to change schools. The best that can happen is this will be brought out in the open. Abuse of power is the worst abuse possible.
