  • I'm pretty centrist. I still have all the answers though. (Just kidding.)
  • This middle of the road campaign is destined to go no where.
  • HELLO...o...o...o...o...! I think I hear an echo. It's lonely in the middle of the road, but we make it work.
  • I am the king of moderation but I promise that I will never swerve to the right though.
  • Very well put. Im impressed.
  • I have both liberal and conservative views. Extremism isn't good because it blinds people. I always say listen to the issue before you decide the answer. Extreme leftists and extreme conservatives have already decided the answer to any problem without even having studied it.
  • I happen to consider myself a conservative democrat. I have one or two conservative beliefs, and they're important to me, but mostly I have politically liberal standings. I hate that people think just because I'm a Christian, I'm a religious right-wing nut-case.
  • I don't have all of the answers, maybe most but not all. ;)
  • I like to think of myself as "outside of the box" my views are unlike any of the liberal and conservatives you normally see... I think there's quite a few like me out there.
  • I don't think AB is full of those types. You just notice them more because they're loud and obnoxious.
  • I am pretty moderate and my name means "I D-on't k-N-ow E-verything"(idne), so I suppose that's a clear sign that I am aware that I don't have all the answers.
  • Is it okay to admit I don't have ANY of the answers?
  • Great question. It seems to me that the extremists are the ones that adopt certain beliefs only because it serves to maintain their extremism (and keeps them firmly on the right or left side). The only honest way is to think for yourself, and, not care whether your beliefs fall on the right side or the left side. The moderates, like you and I, are the ones that do that.
  • A shout out for the people who are sick and tired of being beaten by both sides. Yes, please.
  • Man, I don't have all the answers, I wish I did, but I don't.
  • Sorry, I can't help you. I do have all the answers. I just don't share them all in one place.
  • "AB is full of over-zealous liberals and conservatives incapable of seeing any other side of any issue.", is a pretty extremist opening line. See how easy it is to go extremes?
  • What's your point!!!! I didn't ever see where any one person thought they had all the answers.
  • um ...sorry.. you MUST be talking about some other AB ...because sounds nothing like the AB I'm proud to be a member of ..now if you said helpful...bend over backwards to lend a hand ...funny ..sincere..open and up front...honest and most of all.. welcoming and genuine and yes ok ...opinionated as well sometimes (and arn't we all that when we want to be)...so see since you didn't that that I am sure you are thinking about another AB ....sorry !
  • My politics fall somewhere to the right of Atilla the Hun and yet I don't think I have all the answers. I do have a question though: why do moderates think they are the only ones who aren't extremists? Isn't that an extreme position to take?
  • I know very few of the answers and am willing to listen to both sides of a story even if i do not agree.
  • I'm a moderate too! But that has double meaning here, I'm afraid.
  • lol you can find plenty of moderates on here... im one myself. but youve come to the wrong place to find people who dont think they have all the answers... i assume thats why most of us are answer bagging... we think we have the answers. no offense, but i do.
  • Well conservatives think I'm too liberal, liberals think I'm too conservative - I guess I'm just a fence-sitter...
  • When questions are asked based on knowledge then we have to admit that we dont know all.But majority of the questions asked are purely opnion based so theres no question of not knowing any answer. Its all about sharing your views, knowing those of others and finally jumping into a debate.
  • I don't have all the answers. The thing that is important about all the extremists on either side is that they often shock us into action. By their very fervor and complete, unflagging belief in their opinion, we are compelled to debate, to try to reason with them, and it possibly helps us to solidify, in our own minds, our standing on an issue. They are there for a purpose, perhaps no other than to serve as a warning to us all what could happen if we do not all get our butts in gear and make a stand or take a reasoned position. Just look at the joint effects of extremism and apathy during WWII.
  • but I do have all the answers, I just don't have the questions to put them to.
  • Extremism in defense of the Truth is no vice. (Apologies to 'ultra-conservative' Barry Goldwater...;-D...) . . .
  • Well I'm no moderate, but I'm not any of those labels :D. I have my own views and my own beliefs, I just happen to be very passionate about them.
  • I am generally a moderate/centrist, and... well, OS, you know me well enough by now to know how I am ;)
  • I consider myself a pragmatist. Which, in practice, usually ends up meaning that I'm against the idea of "Politics" entirely.
  • There are people who are like the ones you are describing, who don't really say anything, for fear of being judged. Isn't that unfortunate?
  • I am a moderate. I believe that the military should be strong, because you never know. I believe that that military should only be deployed when we must support an ally, or defend ourselves. I am pro-legalization of marijuana I support the right to bear arms I really want the US to have full health care for all. Screw the big insurance companies. I am a Christian. I think big business, and lobbyists have run this country through vote buying for long enough, and that needs to change, but how do you convince people to not take free money?
  • Yes, but we avoid political debates for a reason!
  • According to the definitions of liberal and conservative I'm liberal about some things and conservative about others. I enjoy hearing other points of view and I'm always willing to be persuaded by reason, but not emotion. I don't think I'm really a moderate though, and I cartainly don't know all of the answers. Not even close!
  • I am a moderate!
  • I happen to have all the answers, unfortunately, i don't remember where I put them all.
  • I'm a centrist (according to a test I took). I can see both sides of most issues, and believe there's a common ground we can ALL agree on. No... I NEVER claimed to have all the answers. I have OPINIONS about those answers, but I may not know for sure. And I would MUCH prefer all these politcal ads stuck to the freakin' issues and what the candidates (read: the party) plan on doing about them, rather than nit-picking sound-bites, bitching about questions they're asked, doing everything they can to make the others look BAD (to cover THEIR badness), and I would REALLY prefer than the PARTIES and PACs would allow the CANDIDATES to approve ALL messasges stated in their names.
  • I usually don't have any answers, just opinions, and i try to make AB a fun place besides being so serious all the time.
  • If I know anything, it's that I know nothing. The more I learn, the more I realize that I still have much yet to learn.
  • Even though this has 41 answers already I am happy to add in that I'm pretty moderate and make a point of being two sided. I alway look down on one sidedness in anyone.
  • no there is not...and no you may not. if your not extreme in your belikefs then you believe in nothing
  • I'd love to see all the answers, but the conservatives want to censor the shit out of it.
  • I'm extremely moderate and I have all of the answers. :p
  • I swore that I was not going to answer any political questions. However, this one is an exception: I am a moderate. I admit fully well that I do not know everything while agreeing with bits of both conservative AND liberal politics. However, I do not agree with enough of either to consider myself either liberal or conservative.
  • I'm a pessimistic, realist, nihilistic conspiracy theorist..I don't know the answer and wouldn't believe them if I di and would more than like only think they were a smokescreen for a much larger lie
  • rah rah rah! Stand up for... ummm....what you're not exactly sure about.
  • Um, I answer the questions I know the answer to. I ask the questions I don't. I don't pretend to know all the answers. I am an extremist, and extremists are the ONLY way the world ever changes. EVER. PERIOD.
