I have never owned a "gravy boat". Would it be wrong to serve gravy out of a creamer?

If you don't own one and don't want to go out and get one, the use a fancy little bow. a creamer is just so trailer park. i ought to know, i used to live in one.

No i believe that would be fine. we never had a gravy boat and my mom served it right from the measuring cup. :)

If you do not have a Gravy Boat a Creamer is fine, they tend not to drip as much as a gravy boat too. Many people use creamers instead of Gravy Boats.

No it would not be wrong, but maybe instead of a creamer just put the gravy in a nice bowl with a gravy ladel.

If you have lots of people or you're a big gravy user, go right ahead. I have even used a small drink pitcher for big amounts of gravy. Then people feel like they can really pour it on:-) Gravy boats are for dainty people, gravy PITCHERS are for people that love eating and gravy!!!

Creamer would be fine albiet usually too small for me ;o), but just make sure it is made of a substance that can take high heated liquids.

We use a creamer instead of a gravy boat all the time.

I own 4 different gravy boats. They are cumbersome and do not pour well. I leave the boats in storage (they match my Gram's sets) and use the creamers.
