If your pet snake does'nt look sick I would;nt worry too much because if it's eaten 3-4 mice that would be the ration for the time being. Snakes do not chew their food but swallow whole and it takes 2-3 weeks to digest..and then it will feel hungry again.

You've got to make the mouse look as though is alive. Tie a piece of string, loosely around it's tail the drag it along the ground. when it's got it just slip the string off. Or use tongs.

Snakes are opportunistic feeders in the wild and do not eat on a 7-10 day feeding schedule. It will not hurt your snake to miss a few meals. Feeding F/T is the best way to go for your snake so it is worth the effort to convert them. There are a ton of methods some easy and some not for the squimish. Run warm water over the mice before putting them in the enclosure moving them with feeding tongs might help. If this doesn't work try tipping them in the oil from a can of tuna. Your snake will decide to eat before it starves so be patient and once you do get them converted do not feed them live anymore. Every snake I own eats only frozen thawled and none of them have an aggresive feeding response anymore including my retics. They just pick up the food and start to swallow, no striking no constricting which makes me feel better dealing with them

Can you try breeding some mice?

Do you have a college/university in town? They have live mice. You can maybe buy from them or find out their supplier.
