  • If they crashed into you then I would guess they were to blame, especially if you can prove you were absolutely not at fault! Unfortunatly it is too hard to give an accurate opinion on something like this with the limited info available to us.
  • It depends on your insurance company. If you were not at fault and the police office wrote up the accident report correctly, it will definatley not affect your driving record. As for your insurance premiums, some insurance companies use a calculation if you were 0% at fault, no deductible is charged and your premium won't change, 5-45% at fault no deductible, but your premium may adjust $5-10/month at the next renewal date. 50% or more at fault deductible will be charged to you and your premium will increase. Unfortunately there are some insurance companies that only look at your claims. Even if you were 0% at fault and you had a claim, your premium will change at the next renewal. But to give you solid information, we'd need someone to evaluate the accident report and come up with the % at fault for your vehicle, and we'd need to know your auto insurance company.
