  • I used to alot. My husband collects guns. We shot his AK-47, and his SKS at his parents house about a month ago.. I'm not real sure what kindof ammo goes in those. I shot a Ruger 10-22 about 2 weeks ago. We just target practice.
  • I did, a few years ago. My friend and I shot often. We reloaded our own, .44 Mag. mostly. We attended several Silhouette matches but never shot in competition ourselves. We shot paper targets as far away as 100 yards with handguns. His, a Ruger Blackhawk and Mine a S&W 629 with 8 3/8 inch bbl. We were members at the local gun club and would go shooting about every other weekend. I also shot a Browning 9mm, and various .22 cal. including a Browning lever action and a H&R 999, a 9 round top break revolver. I would like to own a .30 M1 Carbine, a small framed .44 Spl. and a real Colt 1911. Everybody and his brother manufactured .30 M1 Carbines for the military. GE, Westinghouse, Inland div. of GM, Saginaw Div. of GM. Winchester, NCR and even Rock-O-La the juke box people. I would like one made by Inland, Saginaw or Winchester.
  • I do target shooting with a band new anschutz .22 free rifle and eley ammo. Where i come from we aren't allowed semi or full autos without a special license:( although i used an AK47 at a range in Vegas when i went there in april. It was nice to shoot something other than a little black circle for once (my picture of a suicide bomber got well and truly anihilated) :)
  • Remington Mdl 721/.257 Roberts with handloaded ammo. Its excellent for long distance varmit shooting...
  • I do. The wife and I enjoy it immensely. It's good clean fun and helps to improve our proficiency. There are a couple of indoor ranges we use for target shooting. The best (IMO) is the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum in Titusville, Fl. It's a little bit of a drive from where we live but well worth the effort. Helpful, highly professional, courteous staff with a "NO BS" approach to shooting. I like that. We're big on safety. :) There's another less than 5 miles from the house that we use most times just because it's convenient. The Gun Site In Merritt Island, Fl. Both offer Gun Repair & Services, Shooting & Target Ranges. I would recommend either place to friends or family. We also shoot at a friends place about half way between here and Orlando. We jokingly call it "The Compound" but who knows. In a pinch... Pa-linking galore! Tons of fun. We have a wide variety of handguns and long guns in various calibers and gauges (Read: Armory.:)) but shoot mostly .22LR because it's cheap and we have several weapons that accept that ammo.
