When you drive with your windows up does it feel like you are less aware of what you are doing because you cannot hear as much?

Yeah when I am alone and it's not extremely cold I usually roll the windows down because I like to hear the road and what's going on around me. I'd love to have a convertible and go around calling it a drop-top. Maybe a Mini Cooper?

No, but I do feel that way when my b/f has the music up too high. I turn it down, but then he nags.

Depending on where I'm driving. On interstate highways the wind noise and severe speed of the wind makes the decision for me. Shut! It is nice to be able to hear what is going on when the window is open at slower speeds. You can hear your own vehicle's engine/muffler noise and outside noises around, sometimes music from other vehicles. (It also takes away the smoke if someone is smoking.)
