Dear, Life as we know is good and bad, likewise everything and everybody has good and bad inside. The heart turns out to be bad when you feed it bad and so on...Pot has its good uses and bad uses, thus you cannot get any real answer from anyone but yourself and GOD. If you believe smoking pot does you good and helps you become closer to GOD, I wont tell you to stop smoking it. Tell me what sin has a person who smokes pot committed when he/she just smokes it to relieve depression? Or maybe he/she should let herself get depressed and cause pain to others. First of all, you do not have entirely a private relationship with God, you have a community relationship. For example, your parents are part of your faith community. See Matt 18:20. I met this guy who was quite fond of his joints years ago, and he was also a devout Christian. I asked him what he thought his peers, who most likely frowned upon the habit, thought of it. He told me if God created marijuana plants, then He must mean for us to smoke them. But what about tobacco? That kills people. The Lord tends to his garden, pulling the weed so that the flowers may grow. That's actually damn insulting and screw YOU Darwin but, he was honest about his beliefs, even though they seemed self fashioned like most believers tend to do, but most of them were a lot more elaborated and less sheep like then most I've ever met. But then, I don't go out a lot. That was like ten years ago and I'm still thinking about it even when I don't believe in God, so like, I don't know. If God exists and that everything happens for a reason as pertaining to his decree, I think it's a lot different then that good old book of massacres. I mean it's even more cruel...he was of the belief that spiritually, everything we're able to do has a reason, even rape and murder. Here is a paper I wrote about this... Within the United States of America, there seems to be a controversy over a plant called, Cannabis. Cannabis is also known as Marijuana which actually translates into "Mary Jane" in Spanish. It is also known as airplane, African, ace, and many more slang terms (We will use Marijuana in place of Cannabis in this report). The problem with Cannabis in the United States of America, is that it is illegal because the people were deceived by lies... and greed has over-ruled the people. Marijuana has been in use since man walked on the Earth. It was legal up until the early 1900's when Harry J. Anslinger, took a huge role in making Marijuana, and other drugs illegal in 1928. Aslinger knew that arresting people and putting them in jail and even prison for use or possession of Cocaine and Opium was not making enough money for the Bureau of Narcotics (BN) , so Aslinger decided that making Marijuana illegal, would make the BN a lot more money with all three items illegal rather than just the two. Marijuana can be used as paper, just by using peroxide to clean and go through the process of making the actual paper. In present time, we use wood as our source of paper. Wood is more expensive than marijuana to be used as a source for paper. Aslinger had a contact who went by the name of, William Randolph Hearst. Hearst was in the news-paper business. He owned a well sized piece of land with a lot of trees, so if Hearst had all those tree's to make paper out of, then why would he want people to know that Marijuana would actually be cheaper? He didn't want to be losing money because of Marijuana being used as paper instead of trees. So after noticing that Hearst could lose money, he decided to help Asliger by posting out news papers that Marijuana can actually hurt you and promote the user of Marijuana to hurt others. He printed tons of newspapers saying Marijuana could make you crazy, violent, and do all the things that Marijuana does not do. This is preposterous, all that was posted by Hearst were lies! Marijuana does not make your more violent, or crazy, and it certainly does not kill your brain cells. For thousands of years people in the world has known about marijuana, and it has had no written reports that it has ever killed anyone. Some people will claim that Marijuana does ruin lives. The only reason it ruins lives is because it is illegal. Drugs being illegal is what makes Turf wars between the youth, and even adults... Being Illegal makes it so people have to take the drugs underground, making our youth take more risk. A 15 year old boy is going to take a lot more risk for $500 than a 32 year old, healthy man is going to take for even $10,000 - . Marijuana being illegal makes people be discrete to their families, friends, and even neighbors. Is it a good thing for people having to be discrete, all the time, only because they smoke an ace? Of course not. Some people claim that Marijuana is the key to other drugs. From the nature of marijuana and it's effects, this is 100% not true. There is no case, nor evidence or proof that marijuana makes you try other drugs. If a person is a user of marijuana, and tries cocaine, this does not mean that marijuana leads to cocaine. It is the persons free choice to do the cocaine or not. Even under the influence of being 'high' from marijuana, will still not force you to do other drugs. Many marijuana users understand that many other drugs will harm you, such as cocaine, in which case, they don't want to hurt themselves so they do not do the cocaine. Have you ever considered that maybe we our not helping the people of American by making marijuana illegal? Have you considered that maybe we are actually helping the gangs? If Marijuana is illegal, then that means more money is heading out towards the gangs, because they are the ones that are selling the big stock piles of weed. The solution to this is making Marijuana legal, which would then stop handing-out money to the gangs, and the money would then go to the government and to the other growers of marijuana , legally. If the gangs are getting all this money, what do you think they are going to do with it? They could possibly buy more drugs that will harm you, illegal bombs, guns, and which would then in the near future destroy lives. It is been proven by scientist that Marijuana helps people with their vision, cancer, and many other things such as Blacoma. If Marijuana is better than an Aspirin, why give them the Aspirin that could possibly kill the person? Marijuana relaxes, and makes you feel better when high. Marijuana was crafted by the breath of God, and He said that we should try to heal the sick and diseased as much as possible. So if Marijuana is a natural, non toxic plant, why in the Glory of all things, would it be illegal? Because of greed. Not only should Cannabis be legal because it is a natural, non toxic plant, but also because we as the people and as Americans have the right to do whatever we want with our bodies, no matter what the risk to ourselves might be. We as the people need to be considerate to our other brothers and sisters, and take into thought that maybe something is bad, or wrong, but no matter what, we still have the choice to do whatever we want with out bodies. Whether it be from smoking a joint, to selling our bodies for sex and money. The actions that the person is making may not be right, and may not contain any morals, but it is our freedom. By making Marijuana illegal, not only are you telling the people lies about how Marijuana destroys lives, but you are also exterminating American's freedoms! Our forfathers gave their lives to defend our country, and our country (America), is all about the freedom! --- Did you know? 1)Marijuana is a natural plant? 2)Marijuana has had 0 deaths from the counting in 2003? while Aspirin had killed 20,000 people and tobacco had killed 80,000 people a year. 3)By eliminating the right to grow, eat, smoke, etc... with Marijuana, you are saying we shouldn't have freedom? 4)God made Marijuana, which does not kill anyone, and he said ALL things are good. So how can some people say something that GOD made, should be illegal, because some think it is bad? 5)Marijuana helps some people concentrate more when it comes to studying or working. 6)Marijuana makes you want to do the opposite of being violent? (which is caring for life?) In the 1600's, King Henry ordered farmers to actually grow hemp, or else they would be arrested? How many more freedoms will we lose, just over lies. By all that was said here, I realized how ignorant we have become, and how prone we are to listen and obey lies. Adam and Eve were the first humans created on Earth, and even them, the ones who took us into sin, would call us a bunch of Godless people, because we are eliminating something God has given to us for the benefit of man. It is true that not everyone is a Christian, and even from a athiest view, marijuana is still good for medical, and even emotional stress. Do not dive into the lies from over 80 years ago in the past, and do not be deceived any longer by the sayings like, “Marijuana destroys lives”. Stop people from looking at something and just judging it. It is almost like judging a singer before he sings, saying he is ugly, but once he sings, his voice is like a dove floating over the water. It is like saying to people, “I am a explorer of all the world, I know everything.”, because everyone knows that a person do not know everything about the world. This is how closed minded, and brain washed we as humans can become. We must all ways be on guard for the deceivers, and the greatest deceiver of all, Satan. I

no its no a sin for in genesis 1; 12, 29 the lord says that every that comes out of the ground and that was of his creation is good and allways shall be unless the seeds of plants are mixed. in mathew 11; 11 jesus says "i tell you the truth" in mathew 15; 17 jesus says "you do not yet under stand what enter your mouth go down your belly and cast out unto the air" he was talking out things that we smoke we dont understand them he told us he was to say the thing that were created by God are only to be fully understood by God and its never sinful to breathe them in or eat them. as long as it was a pure plant, that means its not the combination of two plants that is sinful, pot is a pure plant just say Grace before unless its a sin.
