I used to be a truck driver and I like to plot my trip out with a map before I leave for my destination.

I like to research the area we are going to explore and print out maps or get guidebooks. I use the internet to find out about little known places along the way and scenic routes. I use MapQuest, Google, Yahoo, and MapsOnUs and sometimes one just for vacation areas.
