Would it be possible to accidently embalm someone whilst they were still alive or would the process itself be fatal?

If for some reason a still living person did arrive upon the embalming table the process would kill them as it involves removing the blood and replacing it with embalming fluid. Embalming fluids generally fix the cell membranes to preserve the body. That would kill them for sure.
