Have you ever started a rumor about a co-worker? What was it?

I've never been the starter of a rumor, I'm usually the one that the rumor is about. The last one was started by this lady that I've worked with for years. A friend of mine used to work with me, and she was secretly seeing this guy that worked with us(we work in a restaurant, BTW) He lived in the house behind the restaurant, so she'd go over to his house after work, and I was her ride, so I had to stay late at work, which usually the owner was there late every night anyway so it wasn't a problem. I've worked for this guy for 7 years, and we're pretty good friends, so we'd have a glass of wine just about nightly, or a beer anyway... Well one night, We were sitting at the break table having a glass of wine, and laughing and having a good time. Well in walks the rumor starter, who THRIVES on situations like these, The next day, I hear that The owner and I are sleeping together!! I squashed that one really quick.

No. Why on earth would I do that? I have to work with these people, I'm not about to start crap and act like a child.
