Its not a secret. It just isn't mention by the current regime. It was a chartered flight on the 13th immediately after air traffic was resumed.

On October 5, 2001, the Tampa Tribune reported of a flight out of Raytheon Airport Services, a private hangar on the outskirts of Tampa International Airport, in Florida, that allegedly took place at a time when the Federal Aviation Administration had banned all private flights. Three private planes violated the ban that day, and in each case a pair of jet fighters quickly forced the aircraft down, yet, it is believed that the so-called 'Bin Laden flight' was allowed to travel undisturbed -- The big question, who decided to allow two dozen members of Osama bin Laden's extended family to evacuate from the United States, is still open.
