  • I think it has melted cheese in the middle of it
  • i dont think anybody knows what is in the middle of the moon. the people that have been to the moon have not been able to dig that deep into it. but if they were i think that they would find water and that would enable us to start to go to the moon more often. they we could be able to start to buil on the moon for us to live on one day.
  • No, its 'as cold as ice' ... lets see ya nodding ya headz....
  • no. but actully, the moon used to be. you see, the same meteorite that destroied the dinosaurs broke off a piece of the earth(which was molten),sending rock and lava into the atomsphere.then the lava hardened on the rock and formed what we call the moon.then like a day after it hardened, it fell into orbit around the earth.the earth has a molten core that shifts plates. once the plates make a hole, a fissure happens. when the plates move rapidly, then an earthquake erupts.(belive it or not, im nine years old!(in 4th grade))
  • No. Back when the Apollo program was running, one of the experiments was a seismometer. To test it, they deliberately crashed the lander into the moon once they were done with it. The moon rang like a bell for ... I believe about 2 weeks. You can check that on the NASA website. They think the core is crystal.
  • No, not to our knowledge, it doesnt. We do have eqiupment that would tell us.
