  • Just ask him to leave, If he doesn't take legal action. I'm assuming he isn't on the lease?
  • Although you call him an invited guest, you have described a tenant. You need to give written 30 days notice. If after that he does not leave, you can sue him for unlawful detainer.
  • How can my sister evict a person who lives with her that does not pay any rent or utilities? Basically a friendship gone bad, alcoholism involved situation? Has been living with her for about a year and a half. Back and forth in and out of rehab for alcoholism. Totally taking advantage of the situation. My sister is too nice to kick her out because she would have no place to go. She lives in Texas and I know that 30 days written notice is required but does anyone know of any other way out especially with the alcoholism? Does she have any options? No lease involved. HELP!!
