Why doesn't AB have an "Enemies" list or an "Anti-Friend" or "Friendly Foe" or "Despise& Disgaree With" list like the Friends list?

Because if AB did have that sort of thing. There would be endless arguments and drama.

Personally I think that would be kind of fun, but I'm sure a lot of people would take it the wrong way and make it NOT fun

Cyber-bullying would start. Exactly what we don't need on here. AB has turned for the worse already, and we don't need more drama. But I go to admit, I would put some people on that list.

I guess there's one feature of Yahoo Answers that I admire ----- the Block User feature.

When I find someone I want to avoid I write their name down and keep it handy. I have a bad memory and I have ended to run into them again.

I rather like it that we don't have an ignore list. Out of everybody who has had a problem with me since I've been here, there are only 2 with whom I have yet to patch things up......and that is coming, I assure you. If there were an ignore list, I wouldn't have had those opportunities. What good would that have done??

There's no reason for you to get downrated for asking a valid question. While in theory I believe it's a reasonable suggestion, I think it would stir up a lot of drama and animosity which we have more than enough of around here already. Besides which, I don't know how a person could ultimately be kept away from you when you're on a comment thread with multiple users.

I just have a couple who have been very unfriendly to some answers/comments I have made and I keep a short list in my head.

We really don't need it. If i wanted to ignore you, I simply wouldn't answer your questions. I am not forced to interact with you. It's not as if every question you post gets into my mailbox.

I would love to have an "ignore list" feature, but right now, I think AB should fix the recurring glitches first before adding any features. Anyway, we can always have our own ignore list. I have a few users in my list now. My stay on AB has become happier ever since I stopped talking to them :)

I love the idea! I wish there was a way we could get it implemented. So far, any requests or ideas I've sent AB have been completely ignored and unanswered. Even in cases where a cracker hijacked my and several other accounts, AB didn't do anything.
