Should women be asked to wear only buttoned shirts in the corporate environment becuase these days women just don't dress appropriately for office as do men, no offence.

I don't know what office you work in, but that's not my experience.

In the corporation where I worked, the women dressed appropriately. I, on the other hand, wore shorts and t-shirts. Maybe my experience is abnormal, though.

Yes I think they should wear smart buttoned shirts in office/corporate workplaces. I also have noticed women are not dressing appropriately or making any effort. Some will wear black jeans which they pass off as trousers! And the smart ones are usually just wearing a semi-casual pair of trousers with a top or t-shirt of some sort while the men are looking professional in their shirts and ties. It just doesn't seem right... and I don't know how women can expect to be taken seriously in a corporate-type industry when they don't even look the part.
