  • I always start with the breast and see how it goes. My daughter had 4 months of breast milk only... until the Dr said she was under nurished and we went to formula with breast milk inbetween. My son had it for 3 weeks. I couldn't take the 105 fever I got every time I lactated. It was horrible!! If I have #3 I will again try the breast feeding and hope for the best.
  • I tried to breast feed but i didn't produce any milk so i had to go to bottle. I felt bad for the little guy because he was always hungry and i didn't know why. I tried a bottle and he ate so much. I felt so bad.
  • I breast fed my first daughter until she was about a year old. I breast fed my son for about 6 weeks, and then found out I was pregnant again. My doctor told me it would be too hard on my body to continue breast feeding while I was pregnant, too. My second daughter, I breast fed for the first month, but it got too hard trying to do that and keeping up with two toddlers. If I had it to do over, I would've breast fed her longer. It really is the best way to go, in my opinion.
  • I breast fed all three of mine, 9 months, 13 months and 11 months. Solids at around 6 months, but only the youngest had much interest in things like cereal. I would do it exactly the same way if I had to choose.
  • I bottle fed all three of my children and was very happy with my decision. I fully support breast feeding moms, but it just wasn't for me.
