Balinese gardens. Full of greenery and statues. I am building one in my backyard. It is slowly taking shape. It has a winding path through the centre and combines both pretty plants and useful ones. It is like tamed nature. That is the philosophy. So it has a large pond with fish and water plants in it, different levels of foliage, palms, fruit trees. Lots of red and white flowers (so I have been able to use some of the Aussie natives to give it a Bali-Australia peace theme), and fragrant herbs like basil and coriander.

There's a japanese, chinese section, another with all sorts of trees, another with occidental gardens... etc... I love every section :)
