  • FOUND THE ANSWER (to my specific problem): I almost forgot about these thread, I've already fixed my psp problem 2 days ago after this topic was posted. These was a very specific problem: It turns out that from the day I bought my psp, it has the wrong configuration: it may run fine like what I experienced, but as you play a more graphic intensive game, problem starts occuring. 1st - UMD Mode was set to Sony NP9660 -NO UMD- Answer: since my psp firmware version is 3.71 M33, UMD Mode must be set to M33 driver -NO UMD-, so I selected it. 2nd - Use VshMenu was set to 'Enable' which should be 'Disabled', so I disabled it. Now my PSP has the right compatible configuration to make it run perfectly. Never had problem ever since. HOW TO GET TO THE CONFIGURATION PAGE: Press and hold the R button, then while doing that, press or slide the power slide button and hold until the black window appears with the Menu Title saying "M33 Recovery Menu Configuration" --if it simply turns on the PSP just continue holding both buttons until it shuts down, then try again, the configuration page should come up. Hope this helps.
  • disabling VshMenu apparently solved my problem with lag in the music folders
