Try several layers of newspaper weighted down with rocks. It will kill the weeds growing around the plants and eventually break down into a mulch.

I have a miniature greenhouse and I use the house hold safe products for plants. Just simply go to any website or store that sell's plant products and look for the safe house hold plants. Even for outdoor plants, household product's for plant's are safe for plants, humans, and animals.

An apostrophe is only used before an s to show possession, or the contraction of it is (it's). NEVER use an apostrophe to make a plural. The plural of plant is plants, not plant's. This is not hard.
