  • It's kind of like that question (if a tree fals in the forest does it cry?" what I mean, is that if it's unexamined, in theory, it may not exist, sure theres a person there who works and pays taxes, but theres no substance, thats the best I got, sorry if I misinterpreted the question.
  • Socrates said the unexamined life is not worth living , perhaps he should have said to him. I am sure there are people who live quite happy lives never once examining it.
  • I personally do not watch television. Perhaps Socrates was saying that you should examine who you are and what you do so you can challenge yourself to do better , to be better than what you are. To get the most out of the life you have. Some people though, are perfectly happy with the life they have and to them that is worth living.
  • Because then you are merely 'exisiting' and not 'living' your life.
