The Bible says that God found man's thoughts to be continually evil. Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. As for the "why" in this question I think it lies in the influence of Satan and his jealousy over God. The devil placed that evil in Adam and Eve and it has carried on thoughout time. VGQ+ -Buddy

It isnt so evil, it has some evil, but their is a lot more good, you have to look for it, it's not like it's going to breaking news, they only do that for bad things.

The world isn't evil. There are evil people in the world, and, unfortunately, they are the ones who get all the publicity and hype. There are plenty of good people out there, and people who want to do good, you just have to look a little harder to find them.

It is so upsetting hearing about what cruel things happen in this world and I really hate it. I find it so difficult understanding why people are like it and I need to come to terms with it and accept what happens as I alone can not change it, unfortunately it is part of life but I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish I could cope with it better as it is very upsetting!!!

I would rather say it is a roaring big party. People are amusing and if you refuse to see the bad things which are not important, you will see that the world is nothing but wonderful. It is a matter of your point of view. I see only the beutyful an amusing things and all the other things I just do not notice. It is not the devil, it is the people who make wars and anyzhing else and some people love to have wars as others like to soccer.

the world is not evil, it is tainted with evil things. Many people in the world are good honest people. There are very few TRULY EVIL people in the world. But i suppose that most evil acts are forced out of need or desperate siuations. Most people don't grown up saying "im going to grow up and be the greatest maffia hitman in the world!" it just kinda happens to them.

because evil people crave power, those who crave power are going to hunt it with more vigor, so they are more likely to get it. then they want to promote people similar to them... a few extremely powerful people have more influence on the world than hundreds, even thousands of average joes

Satan is the ruler of the world. We are living in the days that Jesus was talking about (In the 24th chapter of Mathew) while he was here on earth. Only through Jesus will Peace and goodness through out the earth prevail. And we don't have much longer!

Unfortunately even in nature there is good and bad. Peppers are natures way of protecting the plant from being eaten, yet it can be so poisonous that it can kill a grown person or animal. Yet in small amounts it can preserve food and of course spice it up. People are the same. The worst of us kill but there is something to be learned from that. One, trust your instincts when you feel alarmed. Two appreciate the good times because it can always be taken away. Three, tragedy often brings people closer together. Like animals we feel safer in a group. Basically from evil we learn what we don't want in our society. Without it we would never realize our own conciousness, making us no different from a wild animal.

This world is the way you perceive it. Some believe the world is evil, others think the human inhabitants and the greed that has become human nature are the cause of evil, and yes there are even some that believe in a mythological and make-believe world of a "devil" that causes all bad things to happen.
