Hello Penny! Glad you hear that you are coming to "Da Burgh". There are many things to see and do in the Pittsburgh area. I would suggest starting off with the Pgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. (Very impressive) The Museum of Natural History is opening their newly reconstructed Dinosaur Exibit near the end of November. I can't wait to take the kids to see that. A ride on the Incline to see the view from Mt. Washington is also highly recommended. A scenic boat ride on the Gateway Clipper could be very romantic if you pick the evening dinner and dance cruise. If you're just looking to see the sites, then go to one of their Lock and Dam tours or just a cruise down the river. Visit Point State Park to see the fountain where the three rivers meet. At night, make sure you head down to The Strip for the city's nightlife. Many dance clubs for many different music tastes line the streets. Very cool stuff. Dinner at Atria's is awesome, or if you really want to go "high-end" then head up to Mt. Washington again for dinner at the Grandview. You must visit Primanti Brother's restaurant and have a Primanti (aka Pittsburgh) sandwich. Your choice of meat topped with your choice of toppings along with fries and coleslaw. All on the sandwich! Excellent! I hope you are lucky enough to catch a Steeler game while you are in town. If not, make sure you stock up on all of your Steeler gear at the Steeler stores in the local malls. ;) Have fun and hope you like the Steel City! BTW... make sure you brush up on the local language before visiting. lol http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/1611790

You can't go to Pittsburgh without trying a Primanti Brothers sandwich. They have meat, fries, and cole slaw all on the same slices of bread. They're a mouthful, but really good!
