  • Could you define what "wait" means and I will edit my answer. :-D But in all I think it would be a yes.
  • Probably not. I married each of my three husbands within days or weeks after we met. I have been widowed twice, but this time has lasted for 32 years and still going strong.
  • I did. I waited 12 years to meet my wife, with only a couple of even halfway serious relationships in between. I wanted the right person and my patience paid off. I fell in love with her almost immediately and we've been together for 15 years.
  • That would depend apon the reason I had to wait. If i really loved a person yes I would wait as long as it took.
  • My parents were married at the start of WW2 & she waited (& worried) for 5 years before he came home. Isn't that romantic? Yes, in some situations I could wait.
  • Yes. I would wait on my best friends and the man I love. *sighs*
  • I waited 4 years....been married 7 months now....
  • Yes for as long as it took.
  • Yes :)
  • depends how long, and where they were. I mean if they were in prison, then no, if they were working abroad then yes.. depends on the situation i think.
  • Yes, but not very patiently.
  • Sure if I loved the person.
  • Can you be a little distracted at times?lol
  • Women can wait longer than men on average since women want Mr Right and men want Miss Right now. So if you don't give Mr Right what he wants right now, he might end up with Ms Right now and you might wait for Mr Right forever and eventually settle for Mr Right now, so I think waiting is not a good idea! I hope this makes sense....
  • HAHA i am a girl and ya i have waited for someone but get this i waited for him cause he had a girlfriend who by the way is a you know what and freaken needy and they broke up and i was like YES finally!!! HAHA lets just say i am no longer waiting they went back out again!
  • only if they're worth it and i think there's a chance would i honestly try - because then there's the idea that they're not considered a waste of time
  • Yes. Would you please provide a specific example, though?
  • Depends on what they were doing and where they were!
  • Yes I would wait for somebody whom I cared for. As long as it took.
  • I can wait patiently for a long time if the reward is worth it
  • I'm currently with a person...and recently found out that my crush /friend from high school just broke up with his girlfriend. We have been talking and he said that it was a pity that I was attached...he said he would wait for me....I definately don't think he will and it's not like I want him to. I am very happy with my current bf. It may be different in other situations.
  • Yes. I would rather be willing to stay single for the rest of my life and adopt a child instead of getting an arranged marriage and not be with the one I truly love or want to be with.
  • I think anyone could wait on someone long enough if they really loved that person. I think I could bit I also think during the waiting process, there would be alot of emotional pain. I would want to know what the situation is for me to be waiting...like if they went into the army...es...but if i wasnt waitin for him to decide if he wanted to be with me or another women, then np cuase if he cant make the descion right away then obviously hes too unsure and isnt as serious as i am.
  • I've been waiting for three years.
  • if you really love the person yes, but if not then no i dont think so. ive been waiting 3 months now for someone i want to be with so bad, but i think it might be time to let go. yet i was with him for 5 months and we want to be together but i live to far away. well see what happens this summer. =]
  • I don't know. How long would I have to wait for? At this moment in time, I'm not sure I could.
  • I'm 100% sure I could wait, if it was the man I truly loved.
  • If I loved them, yes, until the end of time.
  • yes because he is always waiting patiently on me :) and says sorry when he's been sitting around the corner waiting for half an hour because i was too lazy to get up and see if he was around the corner
